Microsoft Office 2016 is now available

Today is the worldwide release of Microsoft Office 2016 for both Windows and Mac and is available now for Office 365 subscribers.

How to install

Office 365 can now log in to the Software area of Office 365 Portal, and simply click Install!

If you have Skype for Business installed, you will be asked to uninstall the old client. This is because Skype for Business is now integrated within the new Office 2016 apps.

Then just wait… and the new Office will download and install in the background.

What are the new features?

Unsurprisingly, Microsoft have taken a huge leap forward in how business can now take advantage of the cloud to collaborate with real-time co-authoring within Word (similar to what Google Apps have done) and much more interaction with Office 365.

In a nutshell, it is now even easier to update your documents on the go from any device and instantly share with your colleagues, associates and customers all taking advantage of the cloud.
